    Horn Island was real disappointment, the caption and his offsider walked us up to the unattended war museum and turned on a video and left us and went back to the boat.

    If I did it again I would get the normal ferry to just Thursday Island and catch a taxi to the fort. Have lunch at the pub and come back.

    Thursday Island was only a short tour up around Fort and the cemetery. It was pretty good, and the lunch of fresh mackerel at the pubs was delicious.

    We did a a trip with these guys to Thursday, Friday and Horn Island. Id say the trip was good, the boat captain was very informative and it is a beautiful part of the world. Friday Island was a trip to the pearl shop and a cup of tea, a bit of information from the Japanese owner would have been good but there was nothing.
